Deputy Minister of Agriculture meets the team Memish in Ismailia

Deputy Minister of Agriculture "in an inspection visit to fish farms belonging to Suez Canal Company for fish farming.

Dr. Muna Mehrez, Deputy Minister of Agriculture for Animal, Fish and Poultry Resources, headed to Ismailia Governorate where he was received by the head of the Suez Canal Authority in his office in Ismailia Governorate, in the presence of Majdi Abdel Samie, Chairman of the Suez Canal Company for Aquaculture and Aquaculture.
The Deputy Minister conveyed the greetings of Dr. Ezzeddine Abu Setit, the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of the Group, Mahabaz. He also thanked Mimish and the Suez Canal Authority for the National Fish Farming Project which will contribute to increasing fish production during During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation and the Suez Canal Company for Aquaculture and Aquaculture (one of the companies of Suez Canal Authority)

Then, Mahrez headed to the fish farms site of the Suez Canal Company for Aquaculture and Aquaculture accompanied by Maj. Gen. Mohamed Magdy Abdel Samiea, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Where they inspected the fish farm from the shrimp, hamburger and seabream ponds and inspected the project's living quarters.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture explained that the project will contribute during the coming period to increase the production of shrimp.
Mehrez also stressed the importance of completing some of the facilities in the project as a plant for the production of marine fish feed, a factory for the production of ice and a joy for the production of marine fish and fish export facility.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Karim, head of the Central Department of Veterinary Quarantine and tests at the General Authority for Veterinary Services, inspected the site to select the most appropriate places to establish a fish export facility which will be approved by the Ministry of Agriculture in the framework of the Ministry's approval of the establishments through which fish are exported to all countries.

In a statement, Deputy Minister of Agriculture stressed that there is always an effort to develop fish production in Egypt, which contributes to increasing the supply of fish and reducing production.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation referred to the policy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation to improve the efficiency and development of fish farms, including the transformation from the open to the semi-intensive, vertical expansion to increase production and achieve maximum productivity of the unit of water, land and land, in Egypt.
