Differentiation Between The Antigenicity And Protein Structure Of Both Attenuated (Smithburn Strain) And Virulent (Zh501 Strain) Rift Valley Fever Virus
|
|
Abstract: The growth of Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV) was studied in BHK cell line by evaluation of cell free (CF) and cell associated (CA) virus titer, the peak titer for RVFZH501 was appeared at 48 hours reaching 8 and 6.8 log10 TCID50 for CF and CA respectively while for attenuated RVFV was at 72 hours reaching 8.2 and 6.7 log10TCID50 for CF and CA respectively. The viral protein profile was studied by sodium dedecyl sulphate-polyacrimide gel (SDS-PAGE), both viral protein (virulent and attenuated) was found be recognized between 188.470 to 10.740 KDa. RVF ZH501 and attenuated virus were immunogenic in Western immunoblotting when using reference RVF antibodies.
