خالد ياسين عبد الحليم أستاذ كيمياء المبيدات وسمية المبيدات في مركز البحوث الزراعية بمصر منذ عام 2014. تخرج من قسم كيمياء المبيدات بكلية الزراعة، الشاطبي، جامعة الإسكندرية عام 1990، حيث عمل باحثًا حتى حصوله على درجة الدكتوراه عام 2003، ثم أستاذًا مساعد عام 2008 ثم استاذ منذ عام 2014. ومنذ عام 1996، شارك في العديد من الدورات التدريبية في تقييم المخاطر (برامج تدريب تقييم المخاطر في الشرق الأوسط 2015/2017؛ الوحدتان الأولى والثانية ، وكالة حماية البيئة)، وتقنية النانو، وتفسير صور المجهر الإلكتروني وعلم الأنسجة المرضية، والبيولوجيا الجزيئية، وتربية الحيوانات واستخدامها في التجارب المعملية، والإرشاد في الحصول على شهادات ISO-17025/2015 وISO/9001-2018. شارك الدكتورخالد عبد الحليم في العديد من المؤتمرات وورش العمل الدولية، واختير مستشارًا في كلية العلوم بجامعة طنطا. أشرف على العديد من طلاب الماجستير والدكتوراه في معظم جامعات مصر، وهو عضو في العديد من الهيئات العلمية الوطنية والدولية. كما أنه عضو في لجنة المبيدات الزراعية في مصر. وقد نشر أكثر من 90 بحثًا في مختلف المجلات العلمية في مجالات علم السموم، وتكنولوجيا النانو، وتقييم المخاطر، وعلم السموم البيئية. كان رئيس قسم من 2020-2023 وهو يشغل حاليا منصب وكيل المعمل المركزي للمبيدات للتدريب والارشاد.
