•عضو فى اللجنة المسئولة عن فحص وسلامة النخيل المعد للأستيراد والتصدير ضد سوسة النخيل الحمراء
•عضو فى الجمعية المصرية للمكافحة البيولوجية
•تم نشر اكثر من 36 بحث في مجال ناخرات الأخشاب (حفارات أشجار الفاكهة والأشجار الخشبية) والنمل الأبيض وسوسة النخيل الحمراءفى مجلات دولية ومحلية.
• تم نشر العديد من المقالات العلمية في العديد من المجلات الزراعية والمواقع الألكترونية
•تم عمل نشرات إرشادية فنية عن حفارات الأثاثات والمنتجات الخشبية فى مصر ومكافحتها - وأهم الآفات التي تصيب ثمار نخيل البلح في الحقل ومكافحتها
•المشاركة في عدد من المؤتمرات والورش والندوات العلمية
• المشاركة في الاشراف على المشاريع القومية لنخيل التمر في توشكى وشرق العوينات والفرافرة .
• المشاركة في فحص فسائل وشتلات النخيل المستوردة من الخارج في المطارات والموانى .
•المشاركة في فحص النخيل المعد للتصدير للدول العربية ودول الأتحاد الأوربى
•المشاركة فى أعمال مكافحة ناخرات الأخشاب والنمل الأبيض وسوسة النخيل الحمراء
•المشاركة فى بعض المشروعات البحثية الخاصة بتقييم فعالية المبيدات على سوسة النخيل الحمراء والنمل الأبيض وناخرات أشجار الفاكهة والأشجار الخشبية فى مصر
•المشاركة فى ورش العمل والسيمينارات المقامة بقسم بحوث ناخرات الأخشاب ومنتجاتها
•المشاركة فى عمل الدورات التدريبية وبرامج التدريب الصيفى وألقاء المحاضرات لطلاب الجامعات الدارسين فى هذا المجال .
•الاشتراك مع الاتحاد العام لمنتجى ومصدرى الحاصلات البستانية لعمل دورة تدريبة لمكافحة سوسة النخيل الحمراء
•تدريب المهندسين الزراعيين على استخدام جهاز القوات المسلحة للكشف عن الأصابة بسوسة النخيل الحمراء
