The grain sorghum is consider one of the major cereal crops grown in subtropical areas and be used as food for a large proportion of the population in Africa, Asia, and generally grown sorghum for grain in the hot and dry and very inappropriate environment for maize production.
Asia is considering the leader in grain sorghum in terms of cultivated area, India is the largest producer in Asia of this crop (44%).
