Objectives

The main objective of AENRI The main objective of AENRI is to assist in increasing agricultural production by inrtroducing appropriate mechanization technologies to end users with special focus on small and medium size farms. Efforts towards achieving this objective have been concentrated in the following areas: 1 - Conducting applied research to encourage mechanized farm operations. 2 - Developing appropriate mechanization technologies and machines for local conditions. 3 - Transferring appropriate mechaniazation technologies to farmers. 4 - Promoting local production of machinery. 5 - Conducting on-farm irrigation research to optimize water use. 6 - Providing technical advice and consultancies to farmers and machinery manufacturers.
