Future Activities

1. Conservation of AnGR through:
1.1. Phenotypic and genetic characterization of local cows followed by their official registration.
2.1. Development of methods for conservation and utilization of local cows as AnGR
2. Milk and meat genetic improvement of local cows through grading them up with the Abondance and Tarentaise French breeds.
3. Maximizing the performance of exotic cows under different production systems.
4. Improving productive and reproductive performance as well as improving managerial conditions and practices.
5. Continue with the extension duty for cow breeders.
