- Using newly developed methods in food processing and preservation; and reducing food losses.
- Introducing new and economic methods for packaging developing of processing equipment and sharing in solving problems that face industrial sector in Egypt through the new Food Technology Center (FTC) within the Egyptian Industry Modernization Program.
- Preparing a study on the relationship between the nutritional status and its impact on pupils achievement at school.
- Conducting a new phase of the project of food consumption monitoring system in Egypt, which will cover some governorate
- Using American white hard wheat in production of some bakery products.
- Production of tomato powder in a simple method that could be applied by small-scale projects.
- Production of natural colors from natural sources.
