Current Activities
1-Investigation of the sources of water pollution which affect fish production to produce healthy fish for consumption.
2-Studying the effect of using different organic and inorganic fertilization on pond productivity and its effect in fish production and using non-traditional feeding ingredients to increase the feeding conservation rate of fish.
3-Establishing a selection program to improve Nile tilapia, with better growth rate and resistance to salinity, cold weather and diseases.
4-Using different culture systems through intensive production and closed system.
5- Conducting feasibility studies for fish farms and extension programs.
6- Joint research program with ICLARM (World Fish Center) in different aquaculture activities.
