Achievements

1. Identify the bacterial causative agents of fresh water and marine fish under different systems and best methods for diagnosis and control.
2. Identify the external and internal parasites of economic effect and of zoonotic importance and methods of control.
3. Identify bacterial, parasitic and fungal causative agents in hatcheries (Brood stock, eggs and larva) and the suitable methods of control.
4. Identify the best method for spawning in recycling system Macrobrachium rosenbergii under Egyptian environment and identify the bacterial causative agents of economic importance of hatcheries.
5. Biological and mechanical control of lerneosis by using Caster-oil-plant, cyclop and O. niloticus.
6. Trails for diagnosis of IPNV virus by tissue culture methods on ovary tissue culture (tilapia and African cat fish) and Electron microscope
7. Storage of identified fish bacterial isolates.
8. Diagnosis of nutritional deficiency diseases as vitamin C deficiency in tilapia and African catfish.
