About Us

The Department established under the control of Monitoring of field crops under the name of research storage department, until named with department of harmful animals' .Rotate the presidency of Department are five professors as following:
1- Abbas Kora senior researchers and Head of Research store Department up to 1971.
2- Prof.Dr. Mustafa Halafawi head the Department of harmful animals (1986-1971), and Served as Deputy Director of the Institute in the period of (1985 – 1995).
3- Prof.Dr. Hassan Deeb, head the Department of harmful animals in the period of (1986 – 2004). , and Served as Deputy director of the Institute in the period of (2005 – 2007).
4- Prof.Dr. Abdalmugod Asran head of the harmful animals in the period of (2004 - 2007).
5- Prof.Dr. Fatima Mahrouqi head of the harmful animals in the period of (2004- 2010).
6- Prof.Dr. Magdy Wilson, head of harmful animals in the period from 2010 to date.
and Served as Deputy director of the Institute in the period from (2010) to date .
The department consists of three sections (land snails, birds and rodents).
