Research of PGPR organism in the rhizosphere of the corn in different situation Agro – ecopedologiques of Egypt
[PGPR]
To develop a bank of gene of bacteria of the rhizosphere of
local cultivars of the corn. Criterias of selection will be based on the expression of PGPR characters from genes characterized taxonomiquement and function nellment by the molecular biological methods the ultimate objective is the production of PGPR in owlum adapted to the different conditions afro – eco – pedologiques of Egypt.

Studying fertigation technique and its effect on soils and plants
[Technology of fertigation in sandy soils]
The objectives of this research proposal are to conduct a survey to identify mineral and organic fertilizers avaiable for fertigation, studying the effects of fertilizers and chemicals used in fertigation method, determine the best method to control salt accunulation around plants and evaluate the dissolved organic fertilizers.

Modulation of plant-bacteria interactions to enhance tolerance to water deficit for grain legumes in the Mediterranean dry lands
[AQUARHIZ]
Algria, Egypt, mOROCCO AND tUNISIA, WHERE THEIR NUTRITION AND YIELD ARE AFFECTED BY WATER DEFICIT. The project is founded on the preceding evidence for inter- and intera specific gentic variablity of legumes for tolerance rhizobia to enhance the tolerance to water deficit by the plant. The project involves 10 participants for 7 countries: 3 EU staes and 4 DC Staes of Mediterranean basin.

New Approaches to Assessment and Utilization of the Natural Beneficial Association between Rhizobia and Cereals Roots.
[Beneficial Rhizobia-Cereal Association]
Drs. Y.G. Yanni and F.B. Dazzo proposed to continue collaborative research in agricultural biotechnology biofertilizer development at Egypt and USA. Theirgoal was to increase cereal crop productvity with less dependence on N-fertilizer usage byy optimizing their beneficial association with growth-promoting rhizobia. Their previously work showed that (1) diverse populations of R. leguminozarum bv. trifolii naturally conlonize the root interior of rice in Nile Delta fields where rice/clover rotation is establish several centuries ago; (2) certainn rhizobia promote rice growth resulting in improved root architecture and enhanced plant nutrient uptake, and increase grain yield and agronomic N-fertilizer use efficiency in field inoculation trials, and (3) rhizobia also colonize the root interior of wheat grown in Egypt

Soil Conditioners Project
[SCP]
1. Carrying out the researches in the field of utilizing the organic soil conditioner manufactured from the different agricultural organic wastes
2. Studying the newly reclaimed soil to certain their existence problems to know how to solve them
3. Inclusion the technology of organic waste recycling in the production of organic fertilizers to decrease the pollution derived from the extension use of chemical fertilizers.
4. The establishment of the organic clean agriculture.
5. Holding training courses for farmers and extension engineers on the recycling the organic wastes to fertilizers and untraditional animal forage.
6. Carrying out for researches on the so-called organic fertilizers, transplanting media produced from organic and food wastes.
7-A construction of extension fields at Nubaria, East canal area, Soil of Quntra East, this is to help farmer of the newly reclaimed soil and the region of agricultural expansion
