Agricultural External Trading Of Arab Republic Of Egypt On "Miser El Khadra" Page

Abstract: The main objectives of this research are : to identify the content coverage of Agricultural external trading issues on Miser El khadra page during year 2000 comparing to year 2004 through : publishing frequency and the areas belonging to these issues on the page , determining information sources related to agricultural external trading on the studied page during the two studied periods ,Also to identify journal presentation types of these issues, and to recognize the information functions of messages related to agricultural external trading issues on Miser El khadra page during the two studied periods.
Content analysis approach was utilized through the items of agricultural external trading issues initially, then determining the units of final analysis.
The studied population were Miser El Khadra pages during the two agricultural development plans (1997/2002 & 2002/2007). The research sample consisted of 106pages, one half of them were chosen to represent year 2000, and the other half to represent year 2004.Coding content list was designed with respect to validity and reliability. Frequencies, percentages, qui square, contingency coefficient and critical ratio were used for data statistic analysis.

The most important findings were as follow:
1. Agricultural international cooperation issues had higher percentage during the first and the second period: 37.4%, 28.8% respectively.
2. Areas of agricultural external trading represented 31.5% and 26.3% of the total page area in the first period and the second period respectively.
3. Governmental information sources utilized in agricultural external trading issues represented the main source (74 times) in the first period, and (43 times) in the second period of the study.
4. The news type highly frequented in the two periods (90and 67 times) respectively.
5. Monitoring was the first function which objected of agricultural external trading issues, it had frequented 91 times in the first period and 71 times in the second period. Educating was the second function; it had frequented 71times in the first period and 45 times in the second period.
6. There are no significant differences between frequencies of the main and the secondary issues related to agricultural external trading on Miser El khadra page during the two periods of the study.
7. Significant differences were found between the occupied areas by the main and secondary agricultural external trading issues.
8. The areas occupied by Miser El khadra had decreased during the second period than the first period.
