Views of agricultural extension agents about integration of relationship between agricultural extension and co-operation sectors in kafr El-sheikh governorate

Abstract: This research aimed mainly to recognizing dimension of the relationship between agricultural extension and cooperation sectors as viewed by agricultural extension agents regarding: relationship nature (relationship strength, relationship shape), and cooperation nature (cooperation level, cooperation shape). identifying the relationship between relationship strength and relationship shape in studied fields, and the relationship between cooperation level and cooperation shape in studies activities, recognizing relationship constraint, and identifying requirements of relationship integration.
The study was conducted at seven districts ( Kallen, El-reyed, El- hamoul, Desouk, Seely salem, Metobes, and Fewwa) in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate, Data were collected through personal interview from a random sample amounting to 265 respondents representing about 35% of the total number of extension agent in these seven chosen districts. Chi-Square contingency, mean, frequencies, and percentages, were used to analyze data statistically.
The most important results were as follows:
1- Relationship strength between agricultural extension and cooperation sectors was moderate in studied fields; also cooperation level between the two sectors was moderate in studied activities.
2- The relationship between agricultural extension and cooperation sectors takes the formal shape in studied fields; formalization was highest agricultural wastes recycling, environmental protection, soil conservation, and improvement field crops.
3- The cooperation between agricultural, extension and cooperation sectors takes the formal shape in studied activities, formalization were as follows: extension symposiums.
4- A significant relationship was found between relationship strength and relationship shape in all fields except marketing field crops.
5- A significant relationship was found between cooperation level and cooperation shape in all activities except extension program building.
6- The findings showed many constraints of relationship between agricultural extension and cooperation sectors, also many requirements of relationship were identified
