of population and environment education into ongoing agricultural extension
The Project of Integrating Population and environmental education into agricultural Extension Programme (IPEEAEP) had been started in Egypt 1994 . Few studies had been conducted dealing with it. It is important to evaluate the main component of this project that is training of personnel especially in the second phase of the project.
The main objectives of this study was to evaluate knowledge levels as a training out come, and to assess the differences in knowledge levels between the different categories of personal and professional characteristic of respondents, also evaluating the training arrangements and determining the barriers hindered their performance in project.
Data were collected from all the personnel involved in the second phase of the project at the governorates of Assuit, Kafer El-sheik, El-Menia and Qalupia (100%) through interviews guided by a previously designed questionnaire.
The main results indicated that the majority of respondents (66%) achieved (43.5%) and more scores of knowledge about subjects and contents of (IPEFAEP), and the variation between the two level of knowledge and each of the studied variables was very slight except the following variables, training in areas other than the project, achieved motivation, innovativeness attitudes towards farmers, and attitudes towards integration population and environmental education into agricultural extension.
Results showed also the Barriers in the project tasks, the respondents suggestions to solve it and the requested subjects to be trained in the future.
