Extension needs for rural women in the field of dairy production industrialization "A field study in the rural areas of El Beherah governorate. [EGYPT]

Abstract: This study was carried out for 104 interviewed females aiming to determine the knowledge level of rural women in the industrialization of some dairy prod¬ucts and the relation of the level with some personal traits and characteristics of interviewed persons.
Data was collected through personal interviews to fill a questionnaire . percentages and "Phi" coeffecient were used in the analysis of data .
from the results obtained it was cocluded that .
1. A large number of intervie wed persons had a relatively low knowledges on some steps of laying cream, butter, and skim milk cheese production .
2. All interviewed persons did not know the process of sorter cream, Domiety cheese and youghurt .
3. The knowledge level of laying cream, butter and skim milk cheese process was inhanced with the increasing of age, literacy, commutation with the extension agents and holding milk livestocks.
