Farmers consulation of formal and informal community leaders in some agricultural production aspects [EGYPT]

Abstract: The study aims at studing the farmers consultation of formal and informal community leaders in some Agricultural production aspects, beside studing the relationship between some personal factors with their consultancy level.
To realize these objectives, a sample of 603 respondents was selected randomly from five villages, two in qualiobieh, two in Sohag and one in Minoufia governorates. Data were collected through a pretested questionnaire by interviewing the respondents. Qui square was used for data analysis.
The results of the study were that:
I- There was a difference between the consultancy level of formal workers and their colleagues farmers in some plant and animal production areas.
2- Animal treatment area has the first priority in formal workers consultancy, while field crops has the same degree of periority in ordinary farmers.
3-No significant relationship was found between the consultancy level and taking decision and self appreciation.
4- No significant relationship was found between the consultancy level and age, social participation and number of professions or jobs.
