Training needs of graduate respondents the producers of pear in some reclaimed regions
Abstract: THIS STUDY AILMED TO:
A- Determine the knowledge needs of graduate producers of pear.
B- Determine the relation between some personal factors and knowledge needs of graduate producers.
C- Determine the performance needs of graduate performance producers of pear.
D- Determine the relation between some personal factors the performance needs of graduate producers.
E- Determine the problems of graduate producers producers of pear.
F- Propose a training program for the graduate producers aimed to raise production of pear.
A random sample of 136 graduate producers producers of pear was selected from Mariout , Upper Tahrir, and Noubaria regions.
Data were collected (Jawing January to May 1997, the rough personal interview and prepared questionnaire.
The ' Q2 ' and modified ' Q2 ' were used as statistical tools for analyzing data .
THE MAIN FOLLOWING RESULTS WERE OBTAINED:
A- The degree of knowledge needs off 67,12% ) of pear gradutade producers ranged between moderate and high regarding' Preparing Of Soil.
B - The degree of knowledge needs of about (58.91% ) of pear gradutade producers ranged between moderate and high regarding Services Of Soil and Collect Pears.
C- The degree of knowledge needs of about (71.23% ) of pear gradutade producers ranged between moderate and high regarding 'Pest control.'
D- The degree of knowledge needs of ( 35.62% 1 of pear gradutade producers were high regarding Production Of Pear 30.4 % of them had mean needs. and 34.24% had low needs.
E -There were significant differences at 0.01 between the degree of knowledge needs of the gradutade producers and the personal factors.
F - The degree of performance needs of gradutade producers (67.12%) ranged between moderate and high regarding' Preparing Soil '.
G - The degree of performance needs of gradutade producers 60.27 % ranged between moderate and high regarding 'Services Of Soil and 'Collect Pears'.
H - The degree of performance needs of gradutade producers 67.1% ranged between moderate and high regarding 'Pest Control.
K-There were a sign ills' ant different at 0.01 between the degree of performance needs of the gradutade producers and the personal factors.
L- A training program for the graduate producers aimed to raise the production of pear was proposed.
