An analytical study to the content of agricultural subject in good morning Egypt TV. program

Abstract: This study was carried out to determine the extension fields, objectives and sub objectives included in agricultural subjects directed through Good Morning Egypt T.V. program , determine subject matter sources in the agricultural subjects in Good Morning Egypt T.V. program, determine the suitability of agricultural practices timing for horticulture and field crops in agricultural subjects, determine the persuasion ways used in agricultural subjects and determine the target groups of agricultural subjects.
Content analysis approach was used to achieve the aims of this study. 360 episodes of agricultural subjects were used in the analysis. frequency and percentages were used as statistical tools for data presentation and analysis.
The results of the study revealed that:
Agricultural subjects showed interest to the following fields in descending order: Raising farm production efficiency (%70.56), developing rural community (%25) and sustainable development (%14.44).
Concerning raising farm production efficiency attention was paid to three extension objectives: Raising horticultural crops production efficiency about (%49.61), raising field crops production efficiency about (%29.53) and raising animal production efficiency about (%20.81).
Raising horticulture crops production efficiency contain the following sub objectives : Raising vegetable crops , fruit crops and ornaments crops. raising field crops production efficiency contain the following sub objectives: Raising fiber crops, seeds crops, legume crops, oil crops and sugar crops.
