A study of extension knowledge needs of honey bee OF breeders in Kafr- El Sheikh governorate
Abstract: The main objective of this study was to determine the extension knowledge needs of honey bee breeders in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate through achievement the following specific objectives:
1- Identifying some respondents characteristics.
2- Detemining the extension knowledge needs of respondent.
3- Study the correlation relationship between the respondents knowledge level as dependent variable and some characteristics as independent variables.
4- Explaining the variation in knowledge level of the respondents.
5- Identifying the problems which the respondents suffer from and their suggestions to face it.
Study data were collected by using questionnaire through personal intevieuws from - a random sample of 240 respondents which representing about 37% from the. total number of honey bee breeders in the four studied districts which were kllen, Kafr El-Sheikh, Desouk and Beyalla. Frequences, percentages arithmatic mean. Standard deviation, simple and multiple correlation coefficients, Partial and standard partial regression

cofficients multiple regression were used to analyze data statistically.
The main results of this study were summarized as following: First: Concerning some characteristics of respondent:
The results indicated that the age 73% to the respondents ramged between 37-56 years. About 85% of them their background were rural, the results also indicated that the respondents who are qualified till the secondary stage and who have the university degree about 85% of them their average of cell producing ranged between medium and low which reach about 6 kg, about 90% of the respondents were work part time in breeding bee, nearly 47% of them exposure to I -2 of information sources, the first source was experienced breeders, the second source was the society of bee breakers, the third was the extension pamfelt, nearly 92% of them their achievement motivation were high or medium, about 82% of them their level of satisfaction was either or medium 90% of the respondents their modernization were either or medium, about 41% of them their attitude towards extension were negative.
Second: Concerning the knowledge level in field of honey bee breeding:
The results cleared that nearly 96% of the respondents were come in low and medium categories of knowledge level that reflex their high and medium needs in the studied field. Third concerning the correlation relationship between the honey bee breeder knowledge level and some respondents characteristics.
