The Relationships Between Organizational Effectiveness and Interorganizational Coordination and Rural Development in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate

Abstract: Developing countries have experienced rapid population growth leading to steady increases in human labor and food needs. In order to cope with those effects, there has been strong emphasis on soci economic development. Although industry is thought to be the effective means of soci-economic development, agriculture in argued to be of more importance for too reasons a) agriculture is the food producing sector and b) agricultural has a greater potential to a boorb more labor. The agricultural sector is gaining more attention through the rural development programs.
Rural Egypt has witness systematic development efforts through the last 50 years, since the late 1950's there has been steady flow of rural development attempts in Egypt. The most obvious aspect of those attempts is the establishment of numerous rural social organizations. Each rural social organization is assigned the achievement of specific goals. Achieving organizational goals is seen as the care of rural development. Several research works were making to assess to what extent rural social organizations realized rural development. The focal points of previous research seem to alter through time. The focal points of previous research seem to alter through time. Earlier research focussed on organizational
effectiveness. Later research focussed on interorganizational coordination. It seems that both organizational effectiveness and interorganizational coordination are assumed to express rural development, This should not be the case. Rather. the relationships between organizational effectiveness and interoiga.nizational coordination and rural development need to he tested. This is considered to be the problem of this research Karr El-Sheikh governorate was chosen as the site for the study.
The specific objectives of this study are :
1- To identify the current level of performance of rural social organizations.
2- To identify the current level of intetoryganizational Coodrational in the study site
