A personal interview questionnaire was designed for the studied sample; data collection took about four months from April to July 2006.
The following statistical methods were used to analyze obtained data: percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, analysis of variance, and step wise multiple regression analysis.
The results of the study indicated that:

empowerment was high, 35% of them had medium level and 9.5% had low level.
