Vision of local agricultural extension officers about extension service quality (e.s.q) delivered to farmers in some upper egypt governorates

Abstract: Quality of the extension services is considered an essential prerequisite in the Egyptian agric. ext. work. It is the best approach to meet the Economic Liberation Challenges and to Cope with the global changes. Both of head of the agric. ext. departments in districts besides the subject matter spc. are the professional Leaders of the ext. local and field level.
So they would be the best ones mjudge the ext. services quality (E.S.Q) and to provide the data dealing the following Objective: Determine the contingency between that levels of (E.S.Q) vision and each of ext. organizational clarity and excising responsibility. Minia, Asuit and Sohag were the research governorates two districts from each governorate were selected randomly, they were in order: Magaga, Dir-Mowas, Daurot Sedfa, Tema and Elblina sample were selected randomally from their population in these districts amounted 85% from them. Data were collected through a questionnaire contains, the (E.S.Q) scale and other Scales. Chi Square was the statistic tools for analysis. Main results showed that there was significant difference between vision levels about (E.S.Q) among the respondents and the contingency between the (E.S.Q) levels, and each of organizational clarity and responsibility was not significant. Some implications were deducted to promote the quality of ext. service
