Injection of vitamine and selenium as controlling Agents of calf mortality
Abstract: ABSTRACT:
A high mortality rate of 52, 1% of diarrheic buffalo calves was recorded in a small private farm. Morbidity rate was 3 1.55% and the total number of the studied claves was 73 Classical treatment of diarrhea had no effect except with Viteselen 15 injection Post-mortem and- laboratory examination revealed that deficiency of vitamin E and selenium were the most appropriate causes of the disease and mortality with highly significant increase of AST and CK enzymes
