Assessment of the sensitivity and specificity of brucella lipopolysaccharide antigens prepared with two methodsusing different serological tests

Abstract: ELISA was applied using lipopolysaccharide antigens prepared from B. abortus, S19 by two different methods to record Brucella – antibodies in sera of guinea pigs infected with strain 19 or strain 2308 in comparison with RBT and TAT. The results indicate that ELISA seems to be more sensitive than RBT and somewhat similar to TAT and one preparation of the two antigens used in ELISA was more superior than the other.
