Under experimental condition, three groups each of 4 calves were inoculated with FMD vaccine only. FMD vaccine simultaneously with BVD vaccine and BVD vaccine only.
Serum samples were collected from animals of the first group every two weeks for detection of serum neutralizing antibody until 13th week post vaccination, while from other groups serum samples were collected for 6 weeks.
No signification differences could be found in FMD serum neutralizing antibody titres of all group of vaccinated animals also there is no significant differences in BVD serum neutralizing antibody titre.
From all these results there is no antagonism between vaccination with both FMD and BVD in the animals, also this good medication for preparing combined vaccine of FMD and BVD.
