Effect of levamisole as an immunostimulant on infectious bursal virus vaccination

Abstract: Two experiments had been conducted in this study. The first was planned to study the most suitable time for levamisole administration and the second to study the obility of levamisole to overcome the immuno- suppressive effect of infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV) live vaccine on chickens vaccinated with Newcastle disease virus (NDV) live vaccines the obtained results revealed that treatment with levamisole 3days post vaccination improved development of immunity to IBOV. At the some time .the immuno-suppressive effect on NDV vaccination due to IBDV vaccination had been overcome of –ter levamisole treatment
