Evaluation of Humoral and cell- mediate Immune responses of cattle and buffaloes (native breeds) vaccine SRB51 vaccine

Abstract: Heifer cows and buffaloes vaccinated with two reduce doses of RB51 vaccine with 6 weeks interval had significant Dot –Blot Titer (DBT) in comparison with others group of heifer cows and buffaloes vaccinated with the recommended full dose of RB51 vaccine. In this work the Dot- Blot assay (DBA) was carried out by substitution of γ- irradiated antigen with prepared boiled antigen. Also the cell – mediated immune response was assessed by using local prepared Brucellin From SRB51 and compared with standard Brucellin INRA in native breed vaccinated cows and buffaloes with RB51 vaccine to standardize the vaccination levels, where non-vaccinated animals had less than 1mm; bad vaccinated animal 1-5mm; good vaccinated animal more than 2mm
