Preservation of Brucella abortus RB51 vaccine by using different stabilizers and lyophilization methods

Abstract: Lyophilized Brucella abortus stable rough strain RB51 vaccines were prepared using four recommended stabilizer media and differently ophilization processes. Different preparations were compared with each other to their suitability for: maintaining of rough cultural characterization, viability and bacterial counts before and after lyophilization process, viability under various storage temperatures, porosity, friability, water contents and the freedom of RB51 vaccines from contamination of biological materials. The purpose of this study was directed to evaluate four stabilizers for their suitability for lyophilization Brucella abortus RB15 vaccine to be dissolve more rapidly and to maintaine its colonial morphology.
