The incidence of some diseases diagnosed in female camels in gizan province (kingdom of Saudi Arabia)

Abstract: The present study was an attempt to clarify the incidence of some diseases in dairy camels belonging to some villages in Gizan province (Kingdom of Saudia Arabia).

In this work 457 adult female camels were examined for different camel diseases. (Brucellosis. Salmonellosis, Tuberculosis and trypanomiosis all samples (sera and milk) were negative for Brucellosis; while Salmonellosis. Tuberculosis and trypanosomiasis were detected with percentage of 4.8%, 0.87% and 27.1% respectively. From this study, it is important to control dairy camels diseases to lesser economic loss to herd owners.
