Some serological and bacteriological survey of salomonllosis in cows at gazan

Abstract: In this work 17 samples of aborted foeti native breed cows (zebu) and foreign breed cows (Holleshtin) were examined for the presence of salmonella organisms. Two servers were recognized S. Dublin and S. typhimurium. Sera from 268 adult dairy cattle raised in different farms over 7 provinces at gazan (kingdom of Saudi Arabia) have been tested for salmonella Dublin stained antigen. The result, obtained revealed that the positive agglutination in 87 out of 268 serum samples of cows.
