Combined living avirulent vaccine for newcastle and fowl cholera diseases.

Abstract: A combined living avirulent vaccine for Newcastle and fowl cholera disease was prepared and experimented in chicks. Sera were collected at different intervals after vaccination with either the single or combined vaccine. Newcastle disease and anti antibodies were measured by haemagglutination and indirect haemagglutination tests respectively. Results indicated that high antibody titers could be detected in sera of chickens that received the combined vaccine. Protective immunity was also developed in these chickens or indicated by high percent of survivability after challenge.
