Economical Study on the Voluntary Delivery of Wheat on Egypt

Abstract: This study aims to identify the causes of the reluctance of farmers for the voluntary delivery of wheat, showing the behavior of farmers toward distribution of wheat yield (delivering - sale to the trader - storage - consumption), realizing the most important factors that encourage farmers to delivering their wheat. The results showed that the ratio of delivery amounted to about 34.22% of the total domestic production of wheat at the level of the republic and the relative distribution vary in the different governorates during the period (1995-2008).Also results showed that the percent of delivering in the sample under study rich about 29.6%, also about 66.5% of the sample prefer selling to the merchant. Also results showed that those who plant more than 3 feddans are the most who deliver more as the average delivering reach 7.8% ardeb/feddan follow the those who plant from 1to 3 feddan where the average delivering reach 4.1 ardeb/feddan. So these study recommended the following: encouraging the farmers by developing and incentive bonus increases with the increasing of the size of the developing, sending a representative of the bank to receive the wheat farmer's fields, providing the requirement of production and bay them in cash money and regarding the amounts delivered.
