Economic Indicators of Animal Production Sector in Egypt

Abstract: Arab Republic of Egypt is characterized by the diversity and multiplicity of sources of protein in addition to the ongoing domestic production increases, however, domestic production cannot achieve food security, where is the study problem in low self-sufficiency in various animal sources of production rates and the growing food gap that lower the average annual per capita availability and daily from different sources of animal production.
The study aims to identify the most important economic indicators affecting animal production sector which lead to low self-sufficiency rates that affect the average per capita animal protein and to identify the development of animal production and production requirements of animal value and the net income earned from animal production and the development of production and consumption and net food Animal production in addition to the identification of the evolution of the average daily per capita animal protein.
The results showed that the value of animal production represents 35.3% of the value of agricultural production and livestock production captures 66.1% of the value of agricultural production requirements also contributes about 23.1% of net farm income. This shows extreme vulnerability to agricultural production change in livestock production.
An analysis of income the value of livestock production found that both red meat and dairy products, white meat and manure and municipal table eggs, wool values and lint and finally honey and silk contribute the equivalent of about 38.81%, 26.34%, 18.07%, 10.28% 0.5 0.99%, 0.29%, 0.21% each, respectively, than the average total value of livestock production during the period (2001-2014), reflecting income from the affected animal production change each of them, respectively, where they represent the revenue side.
The total value of animal production in total green fodder and concentrated feed and Hays, feed manufacturers and hatching eggs and the average values of kits each of which has contributed during the period (2001-2014), equivalent to 48%, 27.8%, 10.1%, 9.6%, 4.6% each, respectively, than the average total value of livestock production requirements, reflecting the value of the affected animal production requirements change in Animal production kits where it represents the part costs.
The average annual per capita availability of animal production is minimal in 2014, reaching about 99 (kg / year) and the maximum in 2003, reaching about 125 (kg/year) with an annual average of about 108 (kg / year) during the period (2001- 2014), as the average per capita daily from obtained from the animal production protein was the smallest in 2001, reaching about 17 (g / day) and reached its maximum in 2003, which amounted to about 24 (g / day) with an annual average of about 21 (g / day) during the period (2001-2014).

Recommendations:
1. Promotion of investments in various fields of animal production
2. Interesting agricultural policy for animal production
3. Subsidies the animal production requirements
4. The expansion of high nutritional value for use in production processes concentrated feed industry
5. Increase the production of green fodder through vertical expansion Owaltusa horizontal (increase planting fodder green spaces - the cultivation of high-yield varieties).
6. establishment of factories to turn the vegetable crop residues to feed to reduce the output of which pollution when disposed of by burning one hand, and take advantage of them in the animal feed
