Evaluation of genotypes of spring triticale by the duration of phenological phases, yield and quality

Abstract: The research was carried out in the Moscow region in 2017–2018. At present, triticale (× TriticosecaleWittm.) It is mainly a fodder crop, but it is also valuable for food use. The purpose of the work was the identification of spring triticale genotypes with high yields and good grain quality. Studied yield, yield component and grain quality of six varieties of domestic and foreign breeding, as well as six lecture lines received by a team of authors. The experiment and analysis of the results of the work were carried out according to the "Method state variety testing of agricultural crops. Meteorological conditions have significantly affected on the formation of various yield, yield component, as well as on the grain quality of spring triticale. Duration the length of the growing season in 2017 was almost 3 weeks longer than in 2018 due to its low heatsupply. Under the prevailing weather conditions in 2017–2018, the P2-13-5-2 line was the shortest. Line C259 characterized by the largest grain, medium-density spike and high yield. The genotypes khebadarKharkovsky, Lana, C238 and L8665 had a stable yield at the standard level. Varieties Lana, Sandro and selection lines C259, 6-35-5 and P2-13-5-2 showed a high content of protein and gluten in comparison with the Ukro standard. Selected varieties can be used in breeding programs for yield and good grain quality. on the. The Ulyana variety and the C259 breeding line were the most productive, adaptive and were characterized by good indicators of grain quality. Variety Lana and lines P2-13-5-2 and L8665 gave bread with a good overall baking rating.
