Generic Agricultural Fertilization Method

Abstract: The objective for building agricultural expert systems is to transfer the agricultural knowledge from researchers to the extension officers and growers. This paper presents a generic agricultural fertilization method that can be used for all field crops and vegetable plants. The knowledge in this paper consists of three categories: inference, task, and domain knowledge. In this research, the inference and task are completely generic, i.e. they can be used in any field crop or vegetable plant. The domain knowledge consists of two parts, the first part is generic which manipulates the chemical fertilizers, organic manure, soil, water, …etc. The second part contains knowledge about the underline crop. This work presents also an example for applying this method on tomato plant.
