Economic and environment evaluation for the methods of weeds controlling on wheat crop.

Abstract: The investigation was carried out during 2002 / 2003 and 2003 / 2004 (winter seasons) to evaluation the methods of weeds controlling on wheat economically and environmentally. A randomized complete block design with four replications was used to study seven treatments ( Grasp 10% EC, Grasp + Hand weeding (one), Topick 24 % EC, Hand weeding (twice), control). Which was conducted at Sids Agric. Res. Station. The main objective of this study was to evaluate economically and environmental methods of controlling wheat weeds, to know the best method for controlling with the lower coast. The research methodology relied mainly upon the analysis of variance method and study the relation between wheat crop and weeds by using the analysis of simple regression and correlation to obtained the prediction equation. The analysis of the collected data revealed the following conclusions:
1 – The highest value of profitability for the treatment (grasp + once hand weeding) about 61.1% for the first season 2002 / 2003 and the second season 2003 / 2004 treatment (topick) about 124.9%, the next value treatment (topick) about 59.3% (2002 / 2003) and treatment (twice hand weeding) about 113.9% (2003 / 2004). While the unweeded control about 28.7%, 85.5%), resectively.
2 – The highest value for B/C ratio (grasp + once hand weeding) treatment about 0.611 (2002/2003) and (topick) treatment about 1.249 (2003/2004), the next (topik) treatment about 0.593 (2002 / 2003) and (grasp + twice hand weeding) treatment about 1.139 (2003 / 2004). Unweeded treatment about (0.287, 0.855), respectively the two seasons 2002 / 2003 and 2003 / 2004.
3 – The lowest value of breakeven yield loss with (once hand weeding) treatment about 3.74%, 2.416%, respectively the two seasons 2002 / 2003 and 2003 / 2004, The next value (twice hand weeding) treatment about 6.13% 2002 / 2003 and (grasp) treatment about 5.56% 2003 / 2004. While the unweeded treatment greater than 35 %.
