Susceptibility of Bombyx mori L. larvae to Bacillus thuringiensis and polyhedrosis virus (NPV.)

Abstract: The external symptoms of infected B- mori with B. thuringiensis and polyhedrosis virus (NPV)were easily recognized when three different methods of application, dipping, oral and injection were investigated using three concentrations from each pathogen,
Laboratory results indicates that concentra¬tions of 2x105 and 5x108 micro-organism/ml for bacterial and viral diseases respectively, are the moat effective ones for any method of application. On the other hand, injection treatment was more effective than dipping and oral treatment.
