A study of some genetical and environmental factors affecting performance of laying hens and their crosses.

Abstract: This study revealed some results of economical productive characters with respect to the response of local strains and the favorite breeds and of the crosses between them when their feeds were restricted in quantity. These results indicated that, crosses were superior in body weight than purebreds chicks. So that, these results suggested osing the restriction quantity methode, especially which consume feed daily 50%. This lead to minimizing costs of feeding and good performance.
