ٍStudies on contagious caprine pleuropneumonia (CCPP) in some Arab Countries.

Abstract: Contagious Caprine Pleuropneumonia ( CCPP) ,one of the most serious epizootic diseases of goats, is widespread in Arab countries, causing high mortality and consequently a great economic loss.
Studies in Egypt, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia indicated that although apparently CCPP is similar as a clinical syndrome, etiologically it is different. This situation needs urgent cooperation to establish the specific mycoplasmal species or microbial agents involved and subsequent control or eradication programme
