Abstract: One hundred twenty-five samples from ten representing 15000 birds were collected from different locations in North Sinai. The specimens were collected from be internal organs and prepared for bactericological, histopathological examinations. The isolates were subjected to sensitivity test on 10 different antibiotic discs. The tissue samples from different internal organs were fixed in 10% formaline, embedded in paraffin, sectioned at 5nm and stained with H&E. Twenty-five samples were found positive (20%) for salmonella. Most of isolated strains were of salmonella (S. typhimurum, /s. entrities & S. dublin). They were highly sensitive to enrofloxacin antibiotic. Grossly, the liver and kidneys showed hard grayish and necrotic area, the lung and intestine were congested. The heart was flabby with haemorrhagic areas. Cingestion of hepatic bloods vessels, and multifocal coagulative necrosis were noticed microscopically. Congestion of bronchial blood vesels, hemprrhages and perivascular edema in lungs were observed Desquamation of the villus epithelium and leukocytic infiltration of the mucosa and submucosa were seen in the intestine. Hyaline degeneration of the cardiac musle fibers together with hermorrhages was seen.
