Incidence of some tissue helminth parasites of fish in Egypt.

Abstract: The study revealed 3 different encysted digenetic trematodes; Diplostomum paracaudum, Clinostomum complanatum and Euclinostomum heterostomum in a percentage of 1.7%, 7.9% and 5.4% respectively. Meanwhile cestode larvae in a percentage of 8% and the infection rate of recorded nematode larvae were 40% Contracaecum and 1.5% Gnathostomum.
