Abstract: Antibacterial residues in slaughtered chickens collected from different markets at sharkia governorate (hunhdred specimens from each of liver,breast and thigh muscles and fat) were detected.the results revealed month old to determine withdrawal time of norfloxacin and amoxycillin A group of birds was treated with norfloxacin at a dse level Norfloxacin was depleted from all examined tissues after 96 hours post treatment while amoxycillin disappeared after 72 hours . poultry producers must fllw the instructions for use and rotine examination must be carried out periodically
