Bacteriological, Serological & Biological Studies On E.Coli Strains Isolated From Diarrheic Kids And Lambs In North Sinai

Abstract: The main reason of this study habit adopted by bado Breading sheep and goat that lead to the spread of infection throughout North Sinai from animal to animal and drom animal to human via eating of contaminated meat or drinkink of contaminated milk this pushed up to determine the different serogroups of isolates and study the biological characters and virulence factors of E.coli Serogroups with respect to congored Binding activity , ability to produce (a) and (B) Haemolysine inasion assay and toxin production (heat stable enterotoxin ) and studying the effect of different chemotherapeutic agent on various isolated serogroups . The age of diarrhoeic kids ranged from (1days to 2 months) the rate of E. coli isolation were 70% from lambs and 60 % from goat kids the percentage of isolaton of serogroup 0157:H7 was 6.66% the remaning of serogroups were of low rate Invasiveness assay ( sereny test ) showed negative eeaction with all Ecoli isolates obtined from both dirrhoeic lambs and goat kids The testing for toxin production revealed the presence of ST ain kids and lambs isolates by incidence 13.33 and 5.71% respectivly enrofloxacin and flumequine but highly resistant to ampicilline , erythromycine, lincomycine and gentamycine . Variable results were rocorded with remaning tested antimicrobial agent.
