ٍStudies on the effect of some antimicrobial drugs on diseased domestic rabbits in North Sinai province

Abstract: This study had been done on 40 rabbits suffering from respiratory manifestation as sneezing nasal discharge rough fur labored breathing and diarrhea postmortem examination revealed lung congested and sometimes with abscesses formatiin trachea congestion with frothy exudates in lumen congestion and /or degenerative changes were seen in other organs .Bacteriological examination revealed isolation of Pasteurella multocida mixed with Escherichia coli. Bordetella bronchiseptica and Diplococcus pneumoniae Results of Groups 4 and 5 revealed clinical signs of illness slowly improvedt was here no mortalities in both groups during the treatment period when comared with infected non treated rabbits damage was manifested by increased level of serum AST, ALT and associated with singificant decrease of cholesterol and albumin with normal level of total protein and increase in the blood urea nitrogen and creatinine
