Lumpy skin diseases as a field problem of cattle in El- sharkia Governorate

Abstract: In 2005, clinical signs of skin lesions on cattle rerferring to lumpy skin disease appeared in many cattle farms at Sharkia Governorate . The observed signs were pyrexia,dysagalactia, emaciation, enlarged lymph nodes, edema of skin and nodules on the skin mostly appeared as circumscribed , flat tapped, firm nodules which may cover the whole of the animal body . themorbidity rate was 60% and the mortality rate was 5% The virl was identified by serum will quaranntine an accuratediagnosis of the disease .
