Egypt has the important crop on the all world such as cotton. It has comparative advantage in the production of extra long staple cotton. During the last few years the cotton lost too many of markets in the world, the Farmer doesn’t want to cultivate cotton. So, this study search why cotton loose production and marketing .The subject of the study is the effects economic freedom policies on the Egyptian cotton sector ' where a lot of Major steps .The aim of this study still there were some problems intercepting, its production, Marketing and trading. Which called for the necessity for identifying the most important problems and finding the right ways of solving them .The study is aiming generally towards identifying the effect of the economic freedom policies on the Egyptian cotton sector. The study depends on economical analysis qualitative and quantitative statistical analysis, quantitative analysis is used in measuring production and cost function quadratic regression model, and it depends also on published data. The period of this study (1979–2003) was divided into two periods, the first period (1979–1993),before applying an Economic liberalization policy of Egyptian cotton, the second period (1994 – 2003) after applying an economic liberalization policy of Egyptian cotton. The study consists of 6 chapters besides the introduction, Arabic summary, English summary, ending, Index and a list of Arabic and Foreign references.
The First chapter: Consists of an elaborate review of Literature of the most important previous studies which dealt one way or the other with the study subject
The SECOND chapter: About the development of area ,productivity ,and production
The third chapter: Tales about cotton policies analysis matrix.
The fourth chapter: Dealt Marketing and pricing Egyptian cotton,
The fifth chapter’s results showed:About the geographical distribution of Egyptian cotton exports
The sixth chapter:About the development of Egyptian and world stock quantity of cotton
