Economic Evaluation of Labour Use in The Egyptian Production of Sugar Crops

The sugar from food commodities important food gap as a result of the inability of the suppl of local production to meet the growing consumption on this important item. The study aims to exposure to the economies of producing sugar crops and sugar production in Egypt to discuss the possibility of increasing the production of sugar, thereby lowering the gap sugary and explore the possibility of horizontal and vertical expansion in sugar crops and minimize the cost of production, leading to increased revenue from these crops and reduced imports of sugar, thereby reducing the burden Ali Egypt's balance of payments, is also trying to study to identify the current status of agricultural labor, especially labor sugar crops either cane or sugar beets and to identify the wages and unemployment farm.
The study indicates that the production of sugar was about 1.99113 million tons in 2010, while the estimated consumption of it by about 2765 tons a deficit of about 774 thousand tons are imported from abroad, study also showed that the production of sugar cane was about 15 398 tons maximization produces in Upper Egypt governorates of Qena and Aswan, Minya, and Sohag. The sugar beet production has reached about 7840.304 thousand tons grown in provinces, Dakahlia Bank in addition to Fayoum, Minya.
The study includes four APOP The first section reviews previous studies and research. While the second shows some local indicators to produce a cane crop, sugar beets, and economic indicators and return costs of sugar crops. The third section reviews the indicators of production and consumption of sugar in Egypt. Section IV discusses the current status of each of the agricultural labor cane and sugar beet in agricultural Musrualbtalh and workers' wages.
