The main objective of the present study is to acquaint the economic Efficiency Of Agricultural Resources Use In the Production of The main Field Crops In Kafr El –Sheikh Governorate Likewise Wheat, Sugar beet, Bean, Cotton, Rice, Maize and Seedy water melon.
To Carry out the study a random sample of farms was taken from three villages In Kafr El –Sheikh district, and three villages In El- Hamoul district.
Cobb-Douglas Function Were estimated of Productivity measures Were derived of the economic Resources Used in Producing The main Field Crops in the research area, some of the statistics methods also were used.
The study include four chapters:
The first chapter: includes a review of related studies in the economics Of the Agricultural Resources field.
The Second chapter: includes a review of Resource structure in the studied districts of Kafr El –Sheikh Governorate.
In The third chapter: aim to study the:
1- The economic characteristics for the main filed crops in the study areas.
2- The Value of total and Variable Costs per feddan for each Crops.
3- The net revenue per feddan for the prevailing Agricultural rotation for the Crops.
The fourth chapter: includes the results and discusses the economic Efficiency Of Agricultural Resources Used In the Producing The main Field Crops In the study areas.
It is shown that the economic Efficiency for land, A salaried human worker, mechanical work and Nitrogen Fertilizer are more than one in producing the most crops. On the other hand, the family work, phosphoric Fertilizer had achieved an economic Efficiency more than one in some crops, and their Production elasticity’s weren’t significant and negative in the other crops. As for, the manure and the animal work has achieved an economic Efficiency more than one in few crops. And their Production elasticity’s weren’t significant and negative in the most crops.
The study has proved the following:
1- Necessity increasing the cultivated area of crops in the study area as well as increasing the use of A salaried human worker, mechanical work and Nitrogen Fertilizer.
2- Not increasing the use of Agricultural Resources that it has a non- significance Production elasticity’s specially, the family work and phosphoric Fertilizer.
3- The necessity decreasing the use of the manure and the animal work to reach the efficient level.
