poverty problem is multi-dimensional aspects phenomenon, when we dealing with the strategies to poverty fight there are three entrances is to boost economic growth, research aims to study and determine food and non- food poverty level and some of treatment methods and improve the economic situation in rural, urban and Total Egypt, study depended on achieving its goals each of descriptive and quantitative analysis, the study depended on secondary data, Study included main fifth chapters, in addition to an introduction, as well as Arabic and English summary, in addition to Arabic and foreign references, and references list.
The percentage of poverty level of one dollar per capita/day in 2008/2009 in rural and urban and Total Egypt has about 0.049%, 0.13%, 0.16% each respectively, and also at level 2 dollars/day about 87.73% , 58.4% , 82.37% respectively. The poverty gap has reached about 6.04%, 4.35%, 5.33%, and severity of poverty has about 2.58%, 1.76%, 2.26% for each respectively, By measuring individuals Gini Coefficient in rural, urban and Total Egypt it estimated by about 10.99% , 25.17% , 20.74% respectively
An increasing one thousand pounds per capita national exports, total support led to change unemployed people by 2.5, 4.00 per thousand unemployed for them respectively.
Total food support amounted to 16.44 billion pound and increase by about 9.19% will be enough to cover food poverty in Egypt to.
The Study recommends for decision-makers working on the development of policies and programs aimed at the poorest groups in Egypt, with the aim of reducing the poverty ratio, and in line with the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals third, and need to work on narrow down poverty gap between each of rural and urban Egypt through better development process in rural Egypt and make it attractive investment agricultural, and to achieve higher levels of per capita income
